looking to purchase this as it is my perfect color. but just curious if I could find the old owner on here. traded in at a Nissan dealership so curious as to why.

This has to be the same car that was at the Audi dealer here in Houston last December. I went and sat in it before I bought mine new out of state. That dealership was asking for $48K I believe. Offer $45K. I was actually getting serious about buying it, but I got the price I wanted for the one I bought. Car looked clean, but have a 3rd party inspect it, like a Chevy dealer.

Gas, can’t you find another one that you can buy? What is it with wanting this one? Do a search on Cars.com for one or other car selling websites and move on! Good luck!��

Never mind Gas! I reread the post and you are looking for the original owner of this ZLE. Good luck with getting the name as I tried to get the name of the original owner of my ZL1 that I bought last year to no avail. I contacted the Sales Manager and Salesman of the Chevy dealership a couple of weeks after I bought it wanting to ask the owner a few questions but got no response from either people at the dealership. I think they treat it as private information and can’t give it out by law but not absolutely sure. Again I wish you luck but don’t be surprised if you ever find out who owned the car before you bought it.

If you ran a car fax check I’m pretty sure you could find previous owner information.

I have wondered if there were legalities with this too...that said, i had the shelby goodie box that came with my 350 and wanted it to go to the next owner(traded it on the Z, they sold the 350 like a week later)...dealer actually held up their end and gave me his contact info so i could mail it. They wanted me to leave it in the trunk, but i was afraid it’d end up on eBay.

Yeah I think it’s something to do with Privacy laws that we have in the country. I know medical and financial info are protected and I would imagine that this information would fall under the category of Privacy too and Carfax doesn’t list the previous owners name either!
