I was wondering if somebody had bought any long tubes with high flow cats. I know there’s not much to it and if you want power you need 600hp+ and a tune. But just want to see if throwing them on will throw a check engine light. Doesn’t matter what brand just asking generally. Thanks!

If you install Long Tubes with or without cats then ideally you need a tune. The tune should address any potential issues with CEL's. If you are asking if Long Tubes and high flow cats will run on a stock tune without a CEL the answer is maybe. I believe I have read reports of a few that have done that successfully, but I wouldn't attempt it. If you do not want to tune then stick with Stock...the car will run better.
