The ZL1 1LE is the leading face of GM sportscar !
Did you ever feel like the ZL1 1LE would be the start of GM future sports cars look ? When I saw the 1LE look on the ZL1, the handling, price, LT4 650 hp. I knew it was a steal ! Stops great like a C6 ZR1, but instead of carbon rotors, iron rotors. Carnards up front, wing in the back. Now the C7 ZR1 had a wing also, but you could tell it was a quick decision and design, Now the the C8 stingrays with wing looks more like ours, I'm sure the Z06 and ZR1 will follow suit, and I bet with options of carnards and wings. People can say what they want about the ZL1 1le, but it is a trend setting car as the C8. I also purchased mine knowing that in years to come it will still be in style, C6 vettes are great, and gen 5 camaros also, plus the LS/vortec motors are the best generation of motors since the org 350, EPA messed that up for us, but the power from the factory is nice. Here's to the ZL1 setting a new bench mark on design and a great big Thanks Bill and his team for putting us in supercars performance for blue collar dollars.

The ZL1 1LE is a performance value.
It's as close to a street legal track car as you'll find. While its brutal on all but the smoothest roads, track days are incredibly rewarding. I was done with GM years ago. This car changed my mind. |

That car was my favourite, until I read one article and watched 3 legit reviews on YouTube about the ZL1 1LE. It’s now my favourite car. I knew I had to have one. Now I do and really still can’t believe it sometimes. I drive it hard and the car just laughs it off. Sometimes on nights under the moon I look at this car and think “Jesus, this car looks like some prototype fighter jet!!!” I think my car being black definitely helps that stealth look. Plus, at least I find, pictures do not do this car justice. It has incredible lines. It looks pissed off all the time. And without doubt it means business. Huge tires and fenders. Killer power plant and drivetrain. Trick suspension and eLSD. Carbon fibre here and there. Functional aerodynamics. The list goes on. AND IT COMES FROM THE FACTORY LIKE THAT ![]() I seriously think for the money not much if anything can touch it. My opinion of course. ![]()

I have a 72 chevelle ! The 70 is my favorite, maybe one day I will own one, but one classic is enough. Its a LQ4, T56 magnum waiting on me to put my turbos on, I always wanted 1 old muscle car and one new sports car/muscle car, so I could enjoy the simple times in life, and the technical advances of performance. The ZL1 is the closest thing to perfection ! A new generation of a chevelle would be nice, but it could never match the ZL1.

I’ve never owned a GM product until my ZLE. I thought it was bar none the best value for performance and loved the look. I greatly enjoy owning the car and running it around!

You cannot go wrong with this car. It is a bit heavy but you really don't notice it the harder you push it. The only thing it really goes through is tires due to the weight of the car. For the $, you cannot beat it. Purely it can make a novice fast and still reward the seasoned driver. The PTMs are insanely well tuned.
