[QUOTE=arpad_m;10749412]Not my place to pry, but this doesn't look like a successful long term marriage strategy to me... I did share my upgrade plans with my wife, endured the questions and initial disappointment as a man, then came to a mutual understanding. Also, think about what will happen when she returns and finds out what you did in her absence, definitely not a trust builder.

A saying i live by with my wife ...its easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission
Ive just showed up at home with a new toy many times and im still married

In NY here my car is in storage 75 miles away at a furniture warehouse, the guy that runs the warehouse actually called me this morning. He’s getting laid off today being non essential in NY so he can’t be at work to work but assured me I could get my car if I wanted to. Stand up guy.
Feel worst for him and others like him, the unemployment site has crashed from such a surge this week.

I wrote and deleted a long response to this. I'll just wish you good luck on your future mod plans and your marriage.

Stay safe and sane everyone in the new reality. (An honest sentiment and in no way related to reply above).

Go for the blue.

I am going to paint mine red when this damn pollen season is over.

I put those on soon after I got the car. I had pulled the bumper to add the black glow tie so it was easy. I like it. I did get some extra bright Diode Dynamics LED turn signal lights with the resister so they would still be visible with the eyebrow lights staying on. I like it, works like having some fog lights with the lights on.

I am waiting for a set of LED reverse light "bulbs" and load resistors to arrive, hopefully early next week.
When they do I will install them, add a set of ultrasonic reversing sensors and fix a tiny parking lot ding on the rear bumper cover all in one pass.
That way I only have to remove the cover and tail lights once.

This will pass.
Please be safe everyone.

We aren't quarantined over here in Atlanta. However, I can't get my spring detailing in until the pollen dies down in about a month. Have an appointment tomorrow at the dealership to get the Torque Converter Shudder fixed. I hope they don't charge me for the repair. Even though I only have 12k miles, I bought my 2017 over 3.5 years ago

So I normally work from home. But now I have a much fuller house than normal - so I am getting less done on my cars that normal actually! The 6th gen is sitting under a cover now - I was driving it a bit in Feb. with good weather, but it has turned colder and lots of rain so I washed it and stuck it back under the cover for now. Can't go much of anywhere anyway.

I am in the middle of a few projects on my 71 - replacing the fuel tank and pump and swapping in a new 9" rear end. That has gone slower than normal, but I'm not super motivated either because I have nowhere to take the car anyway.

Plus I just picked up a E60 M5, so I have a new toy to drive right now!

I was hoping to have several weeks to work on my car as we have a shelter in place now in Wisconsin, But my work was deemed essential so here I am still working with no time to install any of my parts.. otherwise car would be getting a cage, sparco seats, subframe bushings, new shoes..

A hide under your bed order is supposed to come from the county today at 1:00. That means either I still go to work, get paid not to work, or combination of work at home and get paid not to work. But I'm planning to use any time off to extend a spot off my driveway in this rental house so I don't have to play musical cars to get the Camaro out of the garage. Like there will be somewhere to drive it to now anyway, lol.
