Tour steering would be way too light for autocross for me. This will obviously vary based on size and strength of the driver.

You know, it's funny to me that they claimed they were going out of business and made this whole sob story post about how "bad business" and people "imitating them" was shutting them down, and they come back and start doing events again. They also seriously claim to have invented roll racing at a drag strip rofl!

I wonder if using tour or track steering changes the ratio since I believe we have variable ratio racks. I've used tour steering on the last couple events because I feel it allows me to move my hands quicker when needed.

It doesn't affect the ratio, only steering effort. What you said makes sense because touring mode has the most assist so it takes less effort to turn the wheel meaning you can move it faster.
