Just a FYI, i spoke to the company and i started a thread to do a group buy. So, if you think you may want one here is a link for u to post your interest. They will detail it how you want, the group buy is to get a deal on the unit itself.

Soooo, I received mine this week. Only it wasn't mine. I got someone else's. Can only assume at least one other person also got the wrong one. The company said they'll get another one out, but no indication when - or what I'm supposed to do with the wrong one. I believe in giving a business a chance to fix things, so I'm not being negative about it - but I don't feel that communication is a strength for them.

I noticed your backdrop is blue (which I want) instead of the white or black but does not offer me the option when I try to buy? Did you ask for blue backdrop?

Thx!

It all depends on what material you chose. Different materials have different color options.

Perhaps if you posted a few details such as what car is shown in what color on what material, and any custom text in the title lock might give a clue as to whose you ended up with?

Kind of late about this but I would like to let you know about this product which might be of your interest.

https://www.etsy.com/listing/7619622...-6th-gen-metal

It is not engraved like some others we have seen on this site, which are great. Those have been for years on the market with great quality engraving and a wide variety of designs, but those I am bringing to the community are high quality metal prints.

The RidePlate blueprints are high quality prints on metal, they all come gift wrapped and with a magnet mounting system included.

They are an economic alternative to the engraved posters. It all depends on personal tastes and budgets.

I started like a year ago working on this and I can guarantee the quality of the product. 3-4 working days shipped and delivered worldwide. Free shipping average price is 65 dollars for the regular prints but it is possible to print a Large one for 130 and a mosaic print that consists of 4 parts for 185 dollars.

Customization like adding your name or VIN is available. Have had for some customers and friends the plate also added to the front or rear view of the car... which looks awesome!

It looks beautiful. I started developing my own too a couple years ago. Practice makes the monk. So congrats on the achievement! Well done and finished work.

Yet I noticed that design looks very similar to Engraved Blueprint Art Colorado. Are you related to them? Don't get me wrong please. I don't discuss your own skills. I mean it's pretty similiar to their style. They are an amazing company and they do great tech blueprints on that style. They provide several services like laser engraving those in high quality metal posters. Sample of their work here:

https://www.etsy.com/listing/5390778...50th-anv-laser

The style I propose is more oriented to realistic views of the car and not the tech drawings. Then include the tech data but using the real body lines of our "beasts". Here are some samples:

https://www.etsy.com/listing/7374009...8-high-quality

https://www.etsy.com/listing/7720444...-quality-matte

https://www.etsy.com/listing/7344989...wing-blueprint

https://www.etsy.com/listing/7488722...-quality-matte

I see your poster is printed on a film and that film set on metal. That service is available at great prices at COSTCO and some other providers, it looks great and it has a nice finish but REAL metal printing is different from that as you print directly on metal, and trust me it is not an Economic option and also you don't find that service everywhere.

In this video you can see one of my RidePlate posters, the poster is still wrapped on the video, that's the reason for that shiny finish, but they are actually matte finish, please take a look:

It would be great to have several of those products together. I am sure there are different variations in sizes and styles for everyone personal taste.

Again great job there. I really liked it!

The result you achieved is amazing! Congrats again!

May I ask the site where you found the CAD models? and the software you used to open and manage them?

Sometimes the top view I get for some cars is not the best so I have to use a drone and reach someone that has the car (I am in several automotive clubs here in Miami and many owners support my designs by providing their cars as models) or use any available photo of the car from that angle, then I need to correct the lines on the top views, those are the most difficult to get. CAD models might help this level of correction.

I am working with Illustrator and Photoshop latest versions. The new versions have some amazing tools. There you can automate several tasks.
