That blows, but looks like minimal damage. Maybe just the rear bumper?

I'm fine, thanks. I haven't been that angry in a while. I really like keeping my cars accident free. Effing distracted drivers....
At least this guy felt bad, apologized, admitted fault, and stuck around to exchange info... Alas his insurance coverage was so minimal that my insurance is covering the damages since his coverage is insufficient. |

What the hell kind of insurance does one have that doesn't cover an accident.

Paint, primer and clear DONE PROFESSIONALLY...$800 - $950 I would look to think about trading it in because as time goes on, the resale value will diminish by the week. I would trade it in for another ZL1 or C8...sorry mane! |

Claim diminished value as part of your claim. It's a real thing.
Unfortunately, I had an old guy hit a car I had owned for 11 days. The body shop was top notch, and try as I might, I could not tell where they fixed it, it looked that good. A good shop will make it look as good as new, especially since they will likely replace all panels and parts, and not do any bodywork with filler. I know it sucks. |

It sucks Robster and I wish you Good Luck on getting it repaired! Mark R is right about his reply, find a good body shop to repair the Z and it will be good as new! There is no need to trade it in because of the accident damage either in my opinion! Get the Z repaired right and keep on driving and enjoying it!

Yea, that really sucks.
But for what it's worth, I have never really care about "fender bender" accidents like this when I look at a car's history.
