As a GM employee though, do you have any idea why I'm so far away from others (like Eric) build dates. I did order 3 days after him, but we got to 3400 the same day. We both order Riverside Blue M6 2SS Camaros. The biggest difference I can see is that I ordered the 1LE package with PDR or is it that I'm in California with different emission standards. Just didn't know if you could see some reason why my build seems to be taking sooooooooooooooooo much longer.

When I was growing up I was told that a Monday car was built with people with hangovers etc. and a Friday car was built because everyone was in a rush to get off work.

When scheduling production - a number of variables are to be considered...
IE: Parts needed to complete build - can be a factor..
and Lansing Grand River produces other vehicles - not just Camaro.

Target Production Week = TPW
- Targets can move - sometimes forward - sometimes backward.
It's based on the production schedule.

I don't have an exact reason all parts are at the line unless there is a constraint on a particular thing like the pdr, as someone mentioned.

Dealer said Monday I can pick it up, but if it were thru BeckyD I'm sure she would have had it ready 2 days before it even got there.

Well, I'm happy for you guys. That's super awesome that you're getting your car so quickly after being built.

But now I'm depressed. My car didn't get built this week according to chat. Although, this is exactly my luck. If I didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all.

I would still check with Becky today. I believe the system does not update until overnight. It wouldn't hurt.

One my cars rolled off the line Monday morning the following week. It didn't show built until Tuesday thru Becky. Shipping will be the next hurdle going to the west coast. You will forget all this once the car arrives.
