BMR Toe Bar Noise
Has anyone else experienced cabin noise from BMR toe bars? The rear end of my ZL1 is all BMR and through painful elimination of variables I’m down to toe bars and sway bar end links.
Appreciate your input. |

I just bought and installed BMR toe bars, and was not impressed with the looseness and excessive clearance between the cone shaped spacers and the bolts. I had a friend machine all new ones with much tighter clearance, and I have no noise. I suspect that is your issue.
It is the first issue I have had with BMR quality ever. I also added rubber boots over the heim joints at the end, per BMR recommendation. |

The factory rear toe links (at least on the ZL1 1LE) are a rubber boot covered heim joint style end, there is zero give or deflection in the arm due to this, it blows my mind that people will take off this perfectly good part and replace with with a poorly designed aftermarket link and pay money for it?

Everyone has opinions about the value of aftermarket parts, but these are worth the small investment and pay for themselves quickly. |

I believe you and everyone has their own risk tolerance. The bolts are TTY and one use according to GM, so for me it’s not worth losing a toe bar during a track event.

Does anyone know if the ZLE toe link is compatible with SS/SS1LE/ZL1? If so this would probably be a better option than the BMR

BMR is replacing all four heim joints at no charge and expediting shipping. Great customer service. A couple new outer TTY bolts from GM and issue will be resolved.

At least in the 5th gen world they were swapable, I would assume since all of our cars have the same suspension design they would swap just fine.
