Maybe heads with option 2 as well. I think i could expect the same power from either setup?

Option 2 gives me easier room to go to a 2650 in the future if i desire, but i still don't know if thats a route i will go...

On option 2 you will likely run out of fuel especially with porter heads as these cars are very fuel limited. Cam pulley, ported blower, cai, and tune is abt the max +/- a few ponies until you need to address fuel.

Btw I’d strongly suggest tsp 1 7/8 headers brother. Their 2 inch are prone to fitment issues

So you're saying even though various shops like Juiced Motorsports/ Complete Street Performance have packages that claim 900 at the crank, so roughly 750-770 the packages include
2" headers
Roto Fab CAI
OD Pulley
103MM TB
Ported Blower
Ported Heads
Cam

That there will still be fuel issues? I mean i assume if there was an issue with fueling their packages would have that information in them?

What cam choice do you have if you want to keep your low and high side fuel pump stock ? Just headers, Cai, and tune.

ran across a guy on facebook yesterday in a ZLE with GPI cam, big gulp, kooks 2" headers...getting 670hp he said. unsure if he had other mods, but had to ask him about it because the sound was absolutely glorious and he may have spent my tax return for me

I work at a major performance shop in Houston and daily a 700+ rwhp C7Z. My mods are cam, 2 inch catless headers, afe cai,upper 2.xx griptech pulley, ati 10% lower, dual nozzle meth kit and a tune on pump 93. I am literally right at the limit on a stock fuel system. I did a huge build on my previous 6th gen ss and ran outta fuel at 750 rwhp.

I can’t speak for other shops but can say we’ve built several lt1/lt4 cars and have a good idea where fueling becomes an issue.
