Radio not connecting to cell phone hotspot
Is anyone else having trouble with their car not connecting to their cell phone as a wifi hot spot?
Mine will connect, but then drop, and then has trouble finding the signal to reconnect. Sometimes I can see the phone listed in the available networks, but when i push it, it says invalid password or something. Other times it will connect fine (without any password changes) so I know the wifi pw is typed in correctly. It is very hit/miss.

Unpair your phone first then repair it to mylink. Then when you want it to connect to your phone for wi-fi do the following.
Have the settings in your phone all done before you start the car. Start your car may take 1-2 minutes before it shows. After you shut off your car and restart it later I noticed this : my phone won’t show up Unless you shut the hotspot connection on your phone off then back on. Then it’ll show . I shut hotspot on and off after I start the car . I noticed it doesn’t show unless I shut the hotspot off & on after I start the car only . I never change the settings on my phone I don’t know why it doesn’t show up unless I restart the hotspot I guess that’s just the way it is. Unless someone else has a better solution. One more thing you don’t need SiriusXM look for a mylink app called Dash a radio without commercials it’s free . I’m canceling my SiriusXM after it runs out in 2 months.
