Looking for some advice on a 2017 V6 1le

Looking for some input on the 2017 V6 1le. I am looking to use it as a daily driver but I can not find one in my area to go look at one, I found an insane deal on one and it has all the options but it's 4 hours from me and before I make the cruise was just wondering what your opinions are. I've only driven a regular V6 but this 1le seems to be a sweet ride for a daily. Thank you in advance for your time and help..

It will be a great daily, especially since you live in a nice weather state. Post some pics if you get it.

The V6 makes for a really gresat daily driver. And very economincal too. I almost bought a V6 1LE before I got my 2016 1 LT. It was stickered around 35K. I really had to ask myself how often i was going to go to the track with it- even Googled where the tracks were in my area, how far, how much much $, etc. In the end I decided it was not worth it. I end up going for my current 1 LT, 6 speed manual, got it for only 19K with 6K miles on it- almnost half price of the new 1LE. And it has a mimited skip differnetial as it is a manual- fantastic bang for the buck. I swapped out the 18" stock wheels for Forged Stance 20's and also added MBRP axle back. So I have a 22K investment, the car looks great; absolutely love it as my cummuter, rotating it with a 2018 VW GTI. And I don't miss having a 1LE at all and no desire to go to the track. So it's up to you, if you can get a 1LE go for it but you can have almost as much fun with a non 1LE V6 manual and customize it yourself.

Only you can make the decision on that! If the price is right and mileage is okay then I say go for it! If you get the 1LE V6 it will be a rare car because I would bet not many were built in 2017. If you decide to go see it then check it over well and check CarFax too. Is it on a dealership lot or individual sale? Do your research first and if you really want it then get it! Personally though I would get a used SS 1LE but you want something more economical than a V8 and I understand. Btw, nice 5th gen SS there and in a rare color too! Good luck!

Seems like it would be worth the drive. They're pretty hard to find. I was originally trying to find a 2.0T or V6 1LE, and found one out in Kansas (I'm in NC) that was a really good deal, and was going to have an in-network dealer ship it in. Unfortunately, someone had already put a deposit down on it, and the dealership just hadn't taken it down. There was a new one near me, but I wound up just getting a used non-1LE, and saved some $13k. I'll be tracking the car, but it was at the top of my price range, and I figured that with the extra money I could do more track days.

Why just daily drive it. You have some great tracks in Florida, SCCA track night has a few there. The 1le is made for the track!

I haven't seen many either and this car has been sitting at the dealer for 4 months. I guess it's the color...I don't get it, but going Wednesday to check it out.
