I would agree the wireless charger pretty much sucks. I would also consider a small counsel cubby. It would be more useful. Where did you find that? I will have to search the web

One option is to replace the wireless charging pad with the 1LT/1SS storage cubby, for a 100% OEM look

Its part number is 84004284, just in case.

Here you go. Yes, I think it needs to come out. There is a youtube video about upgrading the wireless charger module to support new phones, titled "Replace cell phone wireless charging pad in 2016 & 2017 Chevrolet Camaro", that shows most of the process.

pro-mount makes two one on the dash and one down low, i have both with magnetic swivels stuck to them, works great, the one on the dash also works good for filming video when driving/tracking.

I was thinking about doing this with the pro-clip console mount, just putting a magnetic mount attached to it. Would you happen to have any pics of this?
