Only in the front, rears are the standard basic brakes (looked it up in the ordering guide). Check out 6sigma's first pic.

I think the LT1 is the one to have for a fun street car. The front end is worth it alone as I do not like the 2019-2020 SS front ends. I also don't think the 1SS is worth it for what you get over an LT1. The only models I think most people should consider are as follows:
1. LT1 unbeatable performance street car bargain 2. 1SS 1LE unbeatable track day car bargain 3. ZL1 because well...ZL1. 'Merica I think the 1SS is too expensive for not enough adds over an LT1, and the 2SS 1LE gets too close the price of a ZL1 when you catch one with a big discount.

Buy it! Remember, the car you looked at today and decided to buy tomorrow, is the same car someone else looked at yesterday and decided to buy today!

Ha! Spoken like a true salesman! Still working on it, but I think this will work out to be a fair deal and I'll buy it.

These cars are a blast! As I mentioned in another post, I was at the Chevy dealer servicing my over engineered, Cadillac ATS a few days before Christmas and was made an offer I couldn't refuse. T R E M E N D O U S value IMO.

IMO, i would choose the 2020 1SS 1LE over the LT1. It just has a much better front end. I feel like the new RS's and LT1's are way too soft looking from the front.

If mostly DD and only a few track days? LT1 all the way.
If you're competitive on the track and don't intend on it being a DD? 1LE. BTW I didn't know LT1's could come with NPP. |

FYI, I had a 09 (2nd gen) CTS-V manual with a 556hp LSA and tracked it a couple times. It didn't have the extra coolers like diff cooler, etc and it did give me diff overtemp warning when really pushing it. The LT1 may be under-cooled and braked for heavy track use but HPDE days are not races and you don't have to push it any harder than you or the car can handle safely. The LT1 reminds me a little of an old school muscle car, just with a chassis that actually handles really well. This car is pretty basic, no Bose so no active sound dampening. With NPP it makes a good sound and you can hear it in the cabin. I like it. |

Made the deal and brought the car home tonight. Love it so far, huge difference from the V6. Sounds awesome!
Compared to the V6 RS manual, the shift throws feel slightly longer in the LT1 and the clutch feels like it has less overall travel in the LT1. The LT1 seems to ride a little better (better dampened but not too firm), which is surprising considering it has the SS suspension. |
