I would love to get one of these.
They come designed for different heights I believe. I have 12 foot 6 inches but I think 10 foot would have worked too. I only run mine all the way up because Ive smacked my head on it several times over the years and I'm in the garage more then the house.

You young guys fixate on the added space. Those of us of the older crowd just get weary of getting up and down on the ground.

The space is nice but it’s also nice for maintenance and doing projects. I did fluid changes today and stayed clean and off the ground. BTW I’m not that young.😬

Very cool, nice cars and garage.

I believe the floor boards in that vet are made of Balsa wood (for weight savings). I love that tid bit.

My brother had an impeccable vet, same vintage. You may want to take a quick look at the aluminum refrigerant piping, on the passenger side, near fire wall and
exhaust manifold. There may be a factory hose clamp (from another line) that’s slowly rubbing a hole in the refrigerant pipe (vibration from bumps). If that line fails, you have to pull the intake manifold off to replace or repair. Yours may be fine, but figured I’d give you a heads up. From the sounds of it, he said he learned (after the fact) it was somewhat common.

Definitely looking into it for my garage. Both for the added space and not have to crawl under the car anymore for maintenance.

Congrats on the C5. I owned an 02 C5 for 15 years. I sold it when I bought my 17 ZL1. I just picked up a 19 Z06 to keep the ZL1 company.

Thats a heck of a car. Im partially retired and only work 2 days a week right now but travel 160 miles round trip, I actually bought the C5 to do the trip twice a week. When I fully retire in 6 years I plan on getting a C8 Z06 thats a few years old. Im doing the trip now in a Altima thats only getting 27MPG, I already did one trip with the C5 and got 28MPG. Life too short to drive a Altima 320 miles a week and put 25 Miles on my Camaro so I said what the heck. The C5's are very affordable and very dependable cars.
