"Road". Google it. Find the definition by Merriam-Webster.

"Course". Google it. Find the definition by Merriam-Webster.

Put the two words together. WTF do you get? "Road course".

"Road course". Google it. Find the definition. Report back with your findings Einstein.

"Road course racing is exactly what it sounds like – racing that takes place on a closed road course (pavement)."

Is it on pavement? Yes.

Is it a vehicle that can operate on pavement? Yes.

Is it closed to traffic and open to registered racers who passed a safety inspection? Yes.

Then what is it?

Further, even if not legal, a road course is a race that occurs on a ROAD and follows a specific COURSE.

ROAD COURSE. Stop trying to make your own definitions of a damn word. If you are talking about a "TRACK", then yes, it is under the umbrella term "ROAD COURSE", but it is more specific.

Guess what. Nascar racers race on, (GASP), a "road course".

This is exactly why you get targeted people is for posts like this.

What DO YOU consider a road course to be? Most of us have a definition as a place like Road America or COTA. I and most others do not consider a rented/closed straight piece of street to be a road course because it isn't.

Edit: I've never gone down the personal insult road with you, but if that is where you want to take it.............................................

It wasn't even a reply to you. It was a reply to Rodan.

As far as quoting me, I think that you misunderstood what I said. I definitely did not say that I went 170+ on a road course, I specifically said on a track. As someone else earlier in the thread posted, a road course is not the only kind of track that exists.

You guys wanna bicker back and forth and insist that the only correct way to think about anything regarding racing is your way. There are straight up definitions for words in the dictionary. And there are definitions for terms. I just posted up a quote on what a road course is. Yet you still want to debate that it is something different. So what do you want me to tell you then? What is YOUR definition of a "road course". And do you have sources to back it up? Road course, road circuit, race track, race circuit, road racing, Nascar, which one are you talking about or which one are you trying to define or which one do YOU think I am talking about? Tell me and let's get this fcuking thing settled and move on. Make sure TreedYou, Last Standard, Rodan, and whoever the hell else has some damn definition is aware of what this means to. Because I give up. I have no idea how I can explain it in an even simpler term.

I like how Blaq never gives up even when he's wrong.
Now he changes the definition of "road course" to fit his narrative.

"alternative facts"
