See the difference?
Absolutely. Definitely will be getting one when it comes out.

Just spoke with MGW. They're still in the progress of creating one. Late fall or early winter release if they decide they're gonna sell it... the install is a pain, price, and the market all plays a factor in if they're gonna release it. So if we all have a high demand on here for the shifter it might swing them just enough to have them go through with it. The person i spoke to has a gen 6 ss 1le and he's pushing for it so that's good news as well.

So safe to say MGW isn’t planning on releasing a STS for the 6th gen?

No MGW is not making one for the 6th gen Camaro and Barton either!

You could get a Hurst or keep the factory shifter! I have had a few Hurst shifters over the years in my Camaros and I prefer the factory one in my ZL1!

I spoke to MGW two months ago about this. After having their shifter in two different Mustangs i've owned and loved them i wanted their shifter in the ZL1. They told me they had no plans on creating one for the 6th Gen because the stock shifter was "pretty good" as they are. Disappointing.

I sent emails to both MGW and Barton last year asking if they were going to design a shifter for the 6gen Camaros and both replied that there were no plans to do so!
