Brake Fluid Comparison

I wasn't sure if this had already been shared or not and figured I'd post just in case.

Too bad they don’t make that fluid any more. Loved it

Prospeed was the original development and manufacturing company for Torque RT700. It was bottled for Torque under their name.

You can still get the exact same stop juice under a different name in a different bottle; Prospeed RS683.

I agree, It's amazing stuff.

Aside from it being their own website that has the study, it seems like a nice product. I'm just glad SRF react is coming back on the market now. bought enough for the rest of the season.

I've ordered the prospeed on 2 different occasions, both cancelled after 60 days due to supply.

To muddy the waters. I tried to track down the Torque as well to no avail. I was running the SRF, but have switched to the Brembo HTC64 from a recommendation off of this forum. Not as high of a wet boiling point, but the pedal feel was very noticeable to the good, much firmer than the SRF.

The Brembo HTC64 fluid + that member's carbon fiber lines are the only mods I plan on doing to my car...

I need to do this as well. Clearly the SRF isn't boiling on track, but the pedal has gone to the floor on numerous occasions to get slowed down.

I'm tempted to try this as I was getting a soft pedal with SRF last year also. FYI from the research I've done:

Castrol SRF = 518°F Wet & 590°F Dry
Brembo HTC64 = 536°F Wet & 635°F Dry

You guys are putting doubt in my head for stocking up on SRF at the end of the season. I ran RBF600 without a single issue last season (lots of track time), thought I'd switch to SRF to give a lil reprieve from maintenance bleeds between events. Now people are talking soft peddles with SRF which I never even had once with RBF600 and SRF was suppose to be god sent, I am now second guessing even going forward in doing the change over. SRF was highly spoken of till now all of a sudden, now comes Brembo HTC64 being the all high and mighty one.

Same here... I just picked up enough SRF for the 2020 season after using RBF600 and 660 last year. And I too experienced what I'll call a long pedal, the car still braked fine, just a lot more pedal travel. Scary stuff braking from 140 MPH plus into a 40MPH corner for 20 to 45 mins a session. Really wanted to give TQ RT700 a try but none of the US retailers I contacted carried it any longer. Oh well I'll just use up the SRF and plan accordingly if I have the same issues.
