Just picked up a 2017 RS 2.0T, needed a car for a daily that got solid milage that was fun to play with. Plus it fits the toddler seat perfect. I am not someone who can live with a stock car, lol. Always been a Chevy guy as well. I got to drive my friends modified 2.0t and was hooked right away.

I always wanted a Camaro but could never own one because of my older mother in law. Back in 1980 when my brother purchased a brand new Trans Am I was pretty jealous I ended up buying a used 1979 Thunderbird. Then came 1986 I was able to purchase brand new a Monte Carlo SS with T- Tops. Ended up owning that car for 12 years with its pretty weak 305 HO 180 horsepower motor. Then my daughter was born in it was back to boring cars.fast forward to about 4 year ago when my mother in law unfortunately pass away then my wife ask me back in October of 2019 if I still wanted my dream car , the Camaro, I said yes. So in September of 2019 I finally own my first ever Camaro RS and I love it.

Been a car/motorcycle guy all my life. I am the type that falls in love with my vehicles and tend to keep them for close to a decade before the honeymoon ends. My 08 Miata GT love affair was ending. I was 67 years old and was convinced that time was getting short for me. Went to a Chev dealer ship, "just to look". Traded the Miata off on a 2017 2SS convertible fifty. It was love at first sight. My wife said ok you get the car IF I get the basement developed. So in effect the Camaro cost me a little over a $100,000. Love can be blind.

I was actually a Nissan fan for a long time. Bought a 1990 nissan 300zx TT in 2000. Learned a lot about turbos and doing upgrades. I ended up putting larger turbos on and got to around 500whp. Very fun car to drive. Had it for 14 years and age just eventually caught up to it. I sold it to a guy, who sold it to another guy, and that guy found me on face book two years later. Sent me photos of him completely refurbing the car. After all the years of owning that car I was really glad to have it find him.
So I decided to stick with Nissan and figured I'll buy a Nissan GTR. As years went buy the price for those cars didnt drop much. Probably one of the best cars to hold its value when you consider a 2009 sold for 70k new, and are still selling for 50k 10 years later. After years of debating, I finally decided its not worth spending 60k+ on a car thats 5 years old and out of warranty. In comes the Camaro ZL1, After reading and watching reviews, I was hooked. It was in my price range new. Had more power and performance than anticipated. It looked great in pictures and even better in person. Ended up buying the first one I looked at. 2018 hyper blue with 300 miles on it. |

Maybe in 2024 you can pick up a R34 GTR. I used to drool over them when they were still being sold new back in my import car days. As long as they aren't being hit with some stupid high markup. Especially for some beat on, high mileage car. Another cool thing about the old RB26 cars IMO is they still carry the Skyline name. |

Own a C7 Corvette, waited to see what the C8 would look like and wasn't all that impressed with it, my wife really dislikes the new 'Vette with the engine in the back. Have owned 3 Camaro's in the past so we discussed going back to a Camaro.
Just ordered a 2020 RS Convertible, probably get it by spring. Never regretted buying a Camaro in the past, looking forward to another new one. First car I ever bought was a new Z28 Camaro in 1978, with a T roof, really liked that car. True story , I had a new job which came with a company vehicle back then, sold the Z28 a year later for more money than I paid for it new. Try doing that now a days.

Well, I cross shopped preowned c7 Z06 and a 6th gen Zl1. I never drove them but I'm glad I didn't. I decided why I wanted to move on from my GTO was because I was tired of parts being scarce and being afraid to drive my car. That's when I decided I didn't want something super expensive or rare. I wanted something that I wouldn't be too tore up over when Rudolph or Bambi jumps in front of me. So, here I am in a lightly used 2018 (5k miles) Mosaic Black 2SS M6 with adrenaline red interior and mag ride.

I was looking to replace my 08 BMW 335i since I was tired of the snob tax associated with maintenance. I was reading about the SS 1LE for a while and it was getting great reviews, and one happened to be on the parking lot when I was visiting my parents one day. I actually wanted to get a Mazda 3 hatchback since I had other hobbies I wanted to invest in instead, but they (actually my mom) pushed me to go to the dealership. I tried to stick to my plan but then I test drove one, and got a great deal, so I said "all right I'll get it, I can afford it anyway." If it wasn't a 1LE I may have probably not bothered getting a Camaro, honestly

I loved the Camaros of the 80s when I was a teenager but didn't want to buy an old used car. Plus it was the best-looking car on the road.

I bought my car to track it when I can afford it lol. It is by far the best car I have ever owned and it has exceeded my expectations.
