Just signed up for this, will be my first time on a road course.

I'm going to have lots of questions as the date approaches.

Just ordered new Zamp helmet (have a 15 year old Simpson from drag racing days obviously no good now).

Also bought a Hagerty track day policy.

I know I'll need to:
- 0w-40 Dexos 2 oil change
- fill trans (A10) to track level
- diff fluid already changed
- lots of other stuff

Downloaded the checklist from another thread, will study that.

Cannot wait for this, should be a blast.

I must have missed the A10 fluid level increase. Is that a requirement? Asking in advance of my first event in Mar. I saw oil level in LS/LT 1LE require +1qt, but haven’t seen anything about changing A10 fluid levels. If supported, I’ll add to the checklist I drafted in the other thread.

Well I can’t find it in the supplement now. Maybe I missed that it wasn’t for the A10.

Do not mess with the A10 fluid level. This was a misprint in the performance supplement.

Hi Chris, I am in Nashville as well. We have the same car. Don’t forget the SRF brake fluid. You will enjoy the HPDI at NCM. It will get you ready for HPDE. Are you going to CanaroFest?

Thanks, yes, I was thinking Motul 600 for the brakes.

Haven't decided on CamaroFest yet. Might be fun to bring my little boy since he's car crazy like his dad. When is it?

There is an area on this site for CamaroFest. Thursday through Sunday July 9th. The first day is at NCM. The next two days are drag racing, auto cross and car show. Great event hope to see you there. Also, after HPDI, look for NCM HPDE events run by 1010ths Motorsports. See you there!

NCM rocks, it’s my home track too. Their HPDI program is a great way to get familiar with the track and get down the basics of track driving... I’ve instructed their HPDI program previously. I’ll 2nd that 10/10ths is terrific, as is Chin. 10/10ths and Chin have great instructors, and offer a ton of track time each day... only 3 run groups with both.

Thanks! If we weren’t headed out for spring break on the 14th I would be all over that.
