Personally, I feel if you aren't planning on tracking the car, there is no reason to get the 1LE package. The ride is not as "comfy" as the "standard" ZL1. It's kind of a "waste" of money.

I have owned both the ZL1 A10 and currently now the ZL1-1LE M6. I don't think the ride is as bad as some say, but is not the same for sure. And if you track your car, you are probably not driving the car year round in "snow states" , normally

ZL1 1LE Winter Tires

Michelin pilot sport AS3+.

Available in 325/30 and 285/35.

Run them on stock 1LE wheels and you’ll see a great improvement on street. You’ll still need to swap to originals (or others) for track time when it warms up, but I promise you’ll be happy with the AS3+ in the off-season.

This is what I'm running right now on specific Camaro spec APEX ARC-8s. I'm really liking the setup for cold weather duty. The AS3s are competent enough that you can still have some fun without being too squishy like winters. Plus, normally I hate runflats, but I have to admit they are nice for the winter as I don't want to get stuck changing a tire/no spare in the winter. Or trying to use the goo canister in low/freezing temps.

Edit: I'm running 285/35 up front and the diameter is really close front to back. The fronts are a hair taller, but you really don't notice it when they are on the car. No T/C problems either.

19x10.5 wheels with +30 or +27 ET would work for lots of 285 - 305/35R19 winter tires.

Just add a +20mm bolt on front wheel spacer for the winter months and you have a square setup with front and rear track width that's very close.

Would 285/40R19/XL Michelin Alpin PA5 work on all 4 corners on stock wheels?

I need a winter specific tire as I live in Canada and we get lots of snow here.

Same here in MN if it was my only car. I only drive it in the winter when it is dry or a little damp. So I can get away with an A/S tire.

What do you think of 275/35R19 Blizzak LM-60 or 275/35R19 Michelin Alpin PA4 on all 4 corners? I think this set up should work on some aftermarket wheels

I have instaled Continantal ContiVinterContact TS830P. Instaled 295/30/R20 in the front and in the rear. I drive it not much in winter so i decided to use not original sizes. Tires are perfect. I recomend!

I've been running these for about 2k miles in temps 70 to 20. Great in the rain. Grip well till about 30 then its hard to go full throttle in 2nd without really getting heat in them. Overall for the money they're fantastic. They fit the rear 12" rim well too.
