weight ideas
so the main thing about these cars is they are great fun track cars - that have track warranties.
but they do weigh a ton. the seats are really nice, but if i am going to sell this baby after the track warranty goes out, it actually might make financial sense to put race seats in it and save the stock seats for resale... curious if there are any issues with that, and also amount of weight involved. rotors will be needed soon, so some lighter hatted rotors are certainly coming too. Curious how much weight that is. other than that, the one piece that might be easy and save some weight would be a CF hood - how much would that save? rear seat serves no purpose at all. i dont want to turn my car into a race only hooptie, but maybe a decent piece of carpet and pulling that rear seat until resale would make sense too. how much weight? I did a search here and for whatever reason no answers pulled up, so any input would be welcome. |

Thanks for the link but honestly there is no info in that thread except a few drag race mods.
I saw that one and it’s lack of info is why i asked this one. I guess I could just talk to Robert but I was hoping people had done some weight reduction and might comment specifically. |
