Like, don't spend all day telling me how great it is if you ain't buying one.

To me, Ford put this car soo far out of reach that these dudes done became cheerleaders or something.
This is one of the few mustangs I would definitely buy if I could :(
I'd probably snag a ZLE though if I had the chance. I did fall in love with that front end on the shelby though.

So a few minor modifications and you have a 9 sec car.
Not sure about only a few "minor" bolt ons.

Mod list for the GT500 in the video.
-Kong Ported 2650TVS blower
-Pulley
-Tune
-Race Gas
-MT drag radials
-Kooks headers
-No cats full exhaust Xpipe (stock mufflers?)
-ID1300 injectors
-JMS Fuel pump booster
-BMR IRS brace
-BMR cradle lockouts

sure I'm missing something but a decent mod list not minor IMHO.

Just to put this 1000+ hp (950 rwhp) 2020 GT500 in perspective ... here are two Stock Engine (LT1 not even the forged LT4 or LT5) 6th gen SS Camaros on this forum that run mid 9s @ mid 140s ...One is a pretty basic setup with a small P1x blower/Converter and the other is not even boosted but NA ..... Here is the link for the Stock engine P1x SS with mods/time slip (760 rwhp - 9.4 at 140) https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=565560 and here is the Stock Bottom end NA SS with Timeslip/mods (9.3 @ 143) - https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=563280

No doubt these new 2020 GT500s are making Crazy power but the DCT will continue to kill this car in strait line 1/4 mile shame because its also what makes it special. Everyone is saying just wait till the TCM gets tuned but then you will start to see these DCT units flat out blow up / kill clutches (like GTRs did and no aftermarket 10K clutch packs available yet for the Tremec DCT) just not a 1/4 mile car but will be great at other things im sure.

For 950 rwhp that time is a disappointment but im sure it will get better .... however if strait line is your bag your still better off with a boosted 2018+ GT 10 speed if you want to stay in the Ford camp.

Either way its awesome to see them starting to push these cars its a good thing for all of us performance freaks in the community.

Not sure if this is a good thing for the DCT .... stock programming in the TCM is slipping the hell out of the clutches trying to save the trans ... Really not sure this DCT is up to the task of sending a 950 rwhp car down the drag strip even after they unlock the TCM there may not be much left in regards to power/torque handling even after tuning the TCM could be mechanical limits at play also. 26 mph in the back half bothers me could be IAT related or DCT limits but 26 isn't great for that power level.

One thing for sure they WILL find out soon no doubt and it will be great if im wrong lol.

LOL, it does appear that now that the 20s are harder to get some des are trying to take advantage of people. A friend of mine was in talks with a dealership and they tried to hit him with a $10K markup. But...he got up out the chair and walked out. As long as people continue to walk out then at some point the dealership will drop their BS and sell the car at a fair price...MSRP.

It is a nice car. I do think at some point they will be more attainable. When they do I would probably jump on one myself. But that depends on what competition is out there.

Oh wow I was not aware the mod list was that extensive. Yea that is not a minor bolt-on car. And all those mods basically took only about 4 tenths off it. And it probably would cost a good dime to have that work done.

ATCO is VERY far from me. So I doubt I will get out there more than a handful of times. And I probably would do a blower with a moderate amount of boost and a safe tune. But not until I know that they've got it dialed in properly. I would probably go with Whipple!!

Congrats Blaq, I went Summit White (of course) with non Z51. It sucks paying for all those credits to tune it but I'm gonna have some fun this fall.
Yea i noticed that too, they got it into the 9s fairly quickly but that mph isn't all that impressive for the power level and especially for a car that's been trapping 129-133 stock.

Black does look amazing. The majority of the cars I’ve own have been black so I’ve been straying away from it recently

I know this puts me in the minority, but I really like the cloth performance textile competition seats. This is the build that has been on my mind.

I may be in the minority as well, but I really like those seats (and others like them as well) also.

Thanks. It has PDR just like my ZL1 does. Do you have any videos of your car at the track?

Yours would be black inside and silver outside. Mine will be black outside and silver inside. LOL!! That is a good color scheme you picked!!
