Buying 2018 Z. Would like input.

Got a price of 47500, one owner maintained properly , 3 dealer oil changes...8100 miles on it. What I’m concept about is there’s a flow master axel back dual stage exhaust. Thoughts appreciated.

if that is the only mod, it isn't a concern. If you could get the stock suitcase muffler in the sale that would be a plus.

Agreed.
The only other thing I would look into is the build date. Only saying this because of the oil pump failures in the early models.

How does it sound inside the car? I’m thinking about ordering that same system for mine. If it doesn’t come with the stock setup and you want it to be stock I would be willing to pay shipping both ways for the trade or possibly give you some money as well depending on what shipping costs

If your concern is that the mod means it was beaten on I wouldn’t worry about it anymore than a stock car since the cat back just makes it louder.

Edit
+1 on checking the build date. Here’s the thread on the issue.

Also you might be able to find a deal on a leftover 2019 cheap enough to make it worth buying new. I was able to get 7k off list without even haggling about the price on a 2020 over Black Friday weekend so on a leftover you should be able to get at least 10k off putting it around 57k for one with the popular options and closer to 55k if you skip PDR and Nav.

The car you found is a better deal than I could find around Vegas on a used one. The best local deal at the time was a 17 with 13k miles on it and they wanted 52k. For me it didn’t make sense to buy a used three year old high performance car that would only have the power train warranty left for two years for a 9k price difference. It will take me a decade to put 13k miles on it and adding another year to the loan kept the payments similar enough to make it an easy decision for me.

Good luck with what ever you decide!

Looks like a good deal to me db! You can always change the exhaust if you don’t like it. Also check the build date on the sticker in the drivers side door jamb as others have said but don’t let you stop you from getting it if you decide to buy. Check the car out though before you buy is my advice!

A10 or M6?
The Z is an amazing machine. If you lived near me I’d say don’t get it. I like to be the only one around. I’m actually encouraging others to get 350Rs, hellcats, and vettes. But that’s bc I’m selfish. Lol

Seems like a solid deal to me. I wish I could have found an 8 for that price when I bought mine a few months ago.

If you're not planning to mod, I'd have the dealer verify that the car has not been tuned. There's a chance that it's been tuned and the dealer honestly is not aware. In a perfect storm type of scenario, you could have an engine failure and be left holding the bag. GM would probably claim that you had the car tuned and deny coverage.
