Soler Performance Throttle Control unit

I placed an order for this bloke yesterday. For $75usd,it seemed like a bargain even if I'm not particularly impressed with the results.

I purchased one of their TB's about a month ago, and have not installed it yet due to weather and sh*t.

Has anyone installed one of these controllers yet? Did some searching, but didn't find any love.

Just a couple of reviews here at Camaro 6, check this thread (https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showt...ighlight=soler), as we announced them here for the 1st time in November and were sold-out soon after that until yesterday.

These are exactly the same units (p/n) we have been selling for a while for Corvette 7's, many reviews there at Corvette Forum.

But I'll let members here speak for themselves, we'll probably hear from them soon.

Thanks, for checking us out.

Where did you search?

edit - Same thread Mike already linked to... but it bears repeating: this is the best $75 you will ever spend on this engine.

Also, starting here in the big huge awesome TB thread is more info and chatter regarding the Controller:

Go to page 42 and begin to browse.

Customer Service 10 out of 10!

In a world where we have so many issues with vendors not standing behind there products, I wanted to give a huge kudos to Soler Performance. They really are next level for customer service, and in my opinion, have set a new benchmark for support.

I won't go into all the details (missing shipment) but Mike needs to take a bow. If only all vendors conducted themselves with this level of satisfaction we would all be happier.

I got mine a couple of days ago. I thought I was opening a box which contained a Rolex Watch. Haven't installed it yet, but looking forward to the improvement.

Exactly, got mine in the mail yesterday at work and thought somebody sent me a jewelry gift or something. Installed it last night and drove it to work this morning on SP6. This piece is the single best bargain upgrade for the money there is, completely unlocked the car's response to where I have to relearn how to drive in traffic.

Also, Mike at Soler, amazing support, I had an issue last night and sent an e-mail and he replied in maybe 10 minutes. Can't beat that...

Anyone have any issues with the car going into limp mode after installing this thing?

I have their throttle body installed already, I'm waiting to see if there are any issues with this controller sending the car into limp mode.

I know that has been an issue in the past with other controllers.

My car actually did this, not sure why since I did everything right according to the instructions. Emailed Mike at Soler and he assured me if you clear the code it'll be fine, which it was. I love what this little gizmo does to the car...

Like Termite said, above. Follow the instructions, make sure, after ignition is off, that all doors including trunk you need open for the installation, are open. Then wait 10 min so the ECM cuts power to the ETC system. Install.

If you get a code or limp on the first start, then disconnect the battery for 10 min and check the connections (red tabs out, push until you hear a click, push red tabs in). This will also give the ECM an opportunity to relearn minimum pedal position value.

Zero problems after this.

Out of hundreds of units, there is always one that will be bad, it happens, but you do not have anything to worry about. We'll send you a replacement right away (and prepaid return label) or a full refund if you prefer.

Just installed mine this morning and went for a ride. OMG......what a difference. Used the SP setting and then went to the LU setting. That setting earns it name!
It is like a whole different car. It has awaken the "nasty" in the beast. I could not agree more, best $75 I spend on a mod. You will NOT be disappointed. Let me say that again, you will NOT be disappointed. Thanks Mike for the great product and a very nice price point.
