2018 Zl1 Boost bypass mod

Anyone have results and easy instructions to adjust the valve ?

I have never heard of seen of anyone doing this on these cars. Interesting to hear from anyone that has.

It's pretty easy. Get the right bit to fit the screw, put a light behind the screw/plate it contacts so you can see when it first touches the plate.

Rotate counter clockwise until you can see a light gap between the screw and plate. Then, clockwise to tighten back until it barely touches the plate and no light is shining between. Then give it a 1/4-1/3 turn additional clockwise to lightly preload and you're set. Easy as pie.

There was a thread on here way back when I had just bought my 17. So its out there, and I did it on my 17.

Did that last year when it came in front of the scene....

No difference
Same psi on the gauge
Same boost

But
Mine was already with the good setting
When I checked the screw.
(TPW 04/03/17)

Heard that some folks had to do ~3/4 turns or more to match the perfect position and they felt some difference....
?
It doesn’t cost anything ;-)
Don’t forget to put some blue glue to fix the screw like the OEM set up.
