Yes, definitely. But It's not so much of a worry for me as I run CAM-C with my stock car. It's neat what they can do with the technology but it opens a can of worms with other competitors. There is still more power to be had in the Model 3 Performance(and all of their cars), if Tesla decides to open it up more.

they are addressing that for sure.

They aren't worried about an update and the SEB not knowing about it cause one thing tesla people like to do is post and talk about their cars. an update like that wont go unnoticed lol.

Here is the issue I see, tesla releases new firmware to selected people before it's a general release. They Beta test it. It doesn't always end up for general release. They could uncork the power more and call it a Beta test and give it only to people they think have a chance of winning a national title. The only way to police this, imo, is to have a list of approved firmware releases.
