Parking Brake Problem?
Anyone else have an issue with their parking brake turning on by itself?
Every once in a while, randomly I will start the car and the dash will say the parking brake is on, even though I did not put it on myself. At first i thought maybe i hit the brake by accident, but it has happened a few more times to make me think that's not the issue. Hopefully it's not an electrical short or something like that.

Used to happen to me as well. Totally normal if you never use it. See the insert from the manual in the post above. Mine would come on once to twice a month. Once I started using the e-parking-brake on a daily basis, it stopped coming on by itself.

I can't wait for the first post about an electronic parking brake that's stuck on.
I would love to rip that thing out and throw in a simple cable handbrake. But where to put it

I found out the other day, mostly by mistake, that you can turn off the e brake by just starting to move the car. With the M6 I have to start letting out the clutch and give it a bit of gas. Without the gas it will just stall out when you let the clutch out. My dads M7 C7 does the same as well
