SO I finally was able to go out with my new brake lines to a true track session. I had the car up at Tail Of The Dragon earlier in the month and had great feel up there but a Session at Sebring this weekend was a better test pilot.

On the stock lines occasionally you'd get this mushy feel where the car would slow down fine but it would feel as if there was fade occurring even though there wasn't. It was inconsistent too, one turn it would be mush the next turn better etc.

My front brake pads are on their way out but even with that handicap these lines had given me a nice firm pedal the entire day every single turn. The car always felt like it was stopping and I was pulling over 1.1g in decel according to my meter. Im very impressed with these and cant wait to get in some proper fluid like the HTC64 to go with them to see how much better it will be. I currently run Motul RBF600.

Here is a video of my fastest lap from the session which still has a lot of time left on the table.

Somewhere in the 8 pages he said he tested the SS lines. They performed better but not as well as the carbon lines.

Dave, they are an improvement over stock, but the carbon lines have considerable more feel over stainless lines. There has been members on here that have switched from stainless lines to carbon lines who have reported the same as well. As long as you are a seasoned driver, you should easily be able to tell the difference.

Also one other major difference over stainless lines is the fact that these lines in terms of routing is much more flexible, meaning they do not bind line SS lines do. On the rear it doesn't matter much since the suspension travel alone is not enough to cause any binding on the brake lines, but in the front with the steering angle and suspension movements stainless lines can bind at extreme angles. These carbon fiber braided lines have a huge advantage when it comes to this as well.

Got mine today as well. Not going to be installed until early 2020, when it comes out from its long winters nap.
