MRT V2 drone on my 2019 V6

I just installed the cat-back MRT V2 exhaust system on my 2019 V6, and so far the vibrations/drone between 1750-2500 rpm is intense. I haven't put more than 20 miles on the system so far, so I'm hoping that once it gets broken in that it is not as bad, but I'm not sure if it will get any more subtle.

Has anyone else experienced this with the MRT V2 system?

I have had the v1 installed for a couple years. Mrt did zero tuning on their whole lineup.

Best sounding at wot. For sure. But it will drone and it will always drone.

I put thick dynomat on the inside of the trunk and exhaust shielding under the car. That helps some.

Look at the bright side. There won't be any distracting conversations while you drive around residential streets. And at least it doesn't happen at highway cruising rpms

What kind of exhaust shielding did you use? I might have to try that out.

There is aluminum shielding already on the car. Just drop it and attach the dynomat and put it back up.

Doing the whole trunk helps too.

It won't get rid of it completely. Only way to resolve it fully is to get a new exhaust.

I have MBRP axle back and it also has drone- right around 1900-2K RPM- just one spot in the entire RPM range. I think most systems have a drone spot, the only exception might be the Borla system- which are also the most expensive.

I've done that on other cars and the difference is minimal. I've not seen this setup, but look up J pipes, if there is room. Or sell it and flget something else.
