with the longtubes yes at 75-80 mph on the freeway i cant go into 6th gear it drones too bad but 5th gear its fine

I agree....it's not the best sounding engine, but it ain't bad. I wouldn't trade it! Is the firing order different than the LS engines? Suppose I could look it up.....

That was what sold me on it, there is a huge difference in the NPP function and I think that is its best redeeming quality. The drone when the valves are open is virtually non-existant, by the way. I just don't like the sound or tone of the exhaust, and had I been able to hear it in person I probably would have gone another direction.
