Yeah I have this problem too and when I asked about it people acted like I was crazy.

It's still there but I kinda just got used to it now.

Alright so stopped by Vengeance Racing today and chatted about the noise. In the years of doing intakes and all they use is ROTOFAB...he’s never heard or experienced any of the noise complaints myself and other people are having. He drives all the cars before they leave and never has heard that. I asked him about the throttle body Replacement that some people are suggesting and he said that it wouldn’t make sense by changing the throttle body why it would change the whistle.

Only thing he suggested was making sure everything was tight which he inspected and said it was. He told me to uninstall and reinstall it and see if by moving stuff around or resealing it, that the noise would go away.

Going to try that and I’ll get back with y’all experiencing what I am.

Proabably a stupid question, but is this whistle different than the high pitched sound you hear a lot more with a CAI like the RF which is just the supercharger spinning up?

That's a high pitched sound, and it sounds great to me. It's the SC version of a big turbo spooling up.

I assume this is a different whistle than the SC, but just want to confirm that people know you should hear the distinct high pitch sound of the SC once the stock intake is removed.

Yes it’s different. I posted about this too. Most said I’m hearing the blower. It’s definitely not the blower. Like mentioned above I just got used to it

Nah it’s a legit different noise/whistle.
I ended up taking off and reattaching the tubes and rubber pieces and did make a difference to an extent.

Whistle is now a little different at throttle level now. I’m now convinced it the way the air is traveling thru the tubes and how it is hitting against the throttle body. It wasn’t as noticeable after I readjusted everything but still there and high pitched noise.

Solution: give it more gas and it goes away...
