I was just saying if you are looking for 730whp and to rip off a high 9 second time slip, the stock LT4 has done it with bolt-ons and flex fuel. Now if you are trying to bracket race or road course that power level, then you might end up spending enough money on the LT4 cooling mods(to keep the car consistent) where it makes more sense to just get the 2650. Don't want you to think I am saying NOT to get the 2650, it's just not needed for the guy that hits the track once or twice a year to rip off a 9.9 1/4 mi pass and call it good...all comes down to goals.

I agree with you however, doing so will not be nearly as Efficient and depending on how you drive heat will probably become an issue. My goal was only to be much more powerful than the Z because I am rowing the manual in that car which means any chance of a solid ET was out the Window.

Btw - Since this thread was talking about the comparisons of the 2650. We see that the Edelbrock can get to 1000whp with port injection.
You can also do the 1000whp without port injection in the Magnuson 2650. Here is what They are doing with the Vette (same motor). The combination for the build is as follows: Magnuson Heartbeat TVS2650R supercharger upgrade kit Magnuson 103mm inlet upgrade w/ 80mm pulley Vengeance Racing CNC ported LT4 cylinder heads Vengeance Racing Stage 3 LT4 camshaft kit Nick Williams 103mm throttle body Halltech Systems, LLC Stinger RZ intake American Racing Headers Headers 2” longtube headers and x-pipe AlkyControl dual nozzle methanol injection system Lingenfelter Performance Engineering high-pressure fuel pump Fuel Injector Connection 30% DI injector set DSX Tuning low-side auxiliary fuel system “This particular combination was setup on fueling based on a power goal in the 900rwhp arena on pump E85, however our goals were blown out of the water once the car hit the dyno earlier this week. The final results landed at an extremely impressive 889rwhp/824rwtq on 93 pump gas, and 1,000rwhp/916rwtq on E85 at just 17psi on boost.“ Of course, Shizzy also posted his build which puts the little IL’ 2300 right there too. Lots of choices.

Yes all choices, race gas 12 to 16 bucks a gallon.. meth what is that close 5 to 8 bucks a gallon? Hassel of sourcing a drum, bucket, and pouring in your trunk or over your fender. PRICELESS!
Kong is selling these things right and left and my shop has 2 inline for install so does the shop next door.. Gonna be a hard sale when u compare hood cut vs no cut.

The Magnuson 2650 fit just fine under the hood of the ZLE. I only had to slightly trim the water tray.

Not anymore, gen6mike went 8.72@156 in Vegas a couple weeks ago and will probably break that this weekend in Cali where temps and Da will be more favorable. So hold on tight as we will find out today how low he can go with the 2650 Maggie Heartbreaker. That's at full weight of 3990 with driver. No stripped down 3500 lb Camaro. I think we'll see 8.50s

Thought there isn't much information except talk, Magnuson says port' can be added, too, just like (apparently) the Whipple. I don't know how they'd do it because it's only been stated it's possible at the time, but that might eventually become an option. I don't know that it will be as easy as it seems Edelbrock made it, but we'll have to wait and see.

Several have already made over a thousand with 2650 Maggie. Tray on the Corvette forum made a 1044 on pump gas.
