In my area of SoCal...it's the rep of blown FPC motors....and the STUPID STUPID STUPID $20k and $50k ADM's on the 350 and 350R. If l was gonna spend $120k it would be on a Porsche, not on a "blow me up motored" 350R. JJ

Yea did not have much luck talking the dealerships down off their prices so essentially it is the same price as the ZL1. When you couple that with the motor issues and the general bad fit and finish it made it hard to justify $65K. I really loved the Ruby red 2019 with the track pack but I will keep looking. Trying to find a garnet red ZL1 1LE.

I loved that car when it worked regardless, but Ford as a company is a mess right now and they need to clean up basic stuff such as panel fit. The fan boy excuses were laughable on M6G when anyone would bring it up. These companies have been building cars for a hundred plus years and there is no excuse except for laziness on the companies part for such subpar quality in today’s market. Especially on your second in line “halo” car. Like I said though I like my ZL1 1LE much better overall in nearly every regard. Fit finish/ quality or driving wise. It’s only been 600 miles and a few weeks, but I don’t see it changing. |

Not sure how far you are willing to drive but you might want to give Criswell Chevrolet in Thurmont a try. That’s where I got mine and drove it back to Texas. They have a garnet red right now. It was easy dealing with them, no games. |

BanOne, have you checked Hendrick Chevy in Atlanta? They have used Camaros listed. Since you are in Florida it wouldn’t be too long a drive for you!

Asking price wise I think they and Donohoo in Alabama are some of the top ones. Donohoo also seems easy to work with from what I’ve gathered. Stick with it. These end of year sales are right around the corner.

Let's not forget that the MM act is simply to prevent manufacturers from denying warranty claims on third part OEM equivalent parts. It's not a "well I replaced a stock manifold with a set of performance long tube headers" get out of jail free card. It's there to allow you to replace the stock part with another "OEM" level part. That's it. Can you fight a MM claim, sure.. it'll just take years and many thousands of dollars. Can you win, maybe. Can you lose? Likely.

Seems like you could have a dealer shop check it for a tune, and if it shows no tune or other warranty voiding codes the warranty should be good. $60k for a used 2018 ZL1 1LE is too much, especially modded.
I'm always surprised when people try to sell with mods on, especially easily removable mods. Is it laziness? Smart buyers will not pay as much for a modded car, for obvious reasons. You get more money removing headers and TB and selling those, then selling the car un-modded. And people wont give you any added value for the mods on the car. Also, buyers lose out on the missing OEM parts if they want to restore to stock. |

As for mods.. I agree. About the only part I'd leave on would be an exhaust since storing the stock one somewhere kinda sucks..
