I've been hoping it's not actually an LT2. Like the 60's GTO fiasco Pontiac tried to pull. That would be very entertaining to watch unfold.


They didn't have enough sense to go to another Dyno immediately, who knows if they even looked under the hood

So, I "know" the owner of the shop where they took it to dyno from another forum unrelated to the automotive world. He (obviously) owns the dyno as well. Seems like a pretty stand-up guy who cares for his equipment and strived for accuracy. When they got the C8 numbers, they immediately put a Dodge pickup on the dyno, and its numbers came out normal (I forget what they were. much lower of course) so they don't think the high numbers are incorrect. Whether or not this car was a ringer is not something he knows.
