Daily driver for my 2 mile roundtrip to work. I'll drive in the rain but if there is any chance of hail or freezing rain, I just walk to work.

I have a 2018 RS V6 for my daily, and a 700 hp 2000 Camaro SS for my weekend/summer toy. Figured if I was spending about 25k on a new daily driver, it might as well at least look cool. The SS fills my need for brute power and sound

2016 2SS A8 NPP NAV Yellow
I have not had a sports car in 30+ years always had a pickup. My wife took pity on me so we purchased a 2016 2SS Camaro as my retirement car at witch I will be retiring in 2021. So for now its my DD 55 miles a day to and from work.
I love the car. My wife calls it my dream car. My first car was a 55 Chevy. All though I have had SS nova 69, 68 Pontiac, 70 442 olds, 69 Z28, and a lot of dirt bikes.

Daily during the Spring, Summer, and Fall (around 15 mile round trip to work). Although we never take her to the grocery store, etc. That's what the SUV is for. Parked during the Winter.

Mostly weekends, but I keep it insured year round, so if the weather is good I drive it. Have a company car as dd, wife has company suv as well. When I don't work any more I will buy a used pickup for winter driving, and the Camaro will probably get used more as well.

For me it is used as much as possible in the summer. Once the temperature dips close to freezing it goes away for the winter an I am back to my RAM 2500 for 6 months or so.
As a side note I think it would be super practical and hilarious to have a gen 6 El Camino. Naturally I would want it in Krypton Green 1LE trim.  I have caught my wife putting chicken food or potting soil into the trunk and then mashing the throttle for reasons we can all understand.

Im full Bolt on with E85 and drive it daily prob 4-6 days a week. and 23k miles on it.

Mine is a 2017 with less than 10K miles on it, bought new... so it isn't a daily driver at all.
Poll should have had a "combination of weekend/track" option to be accurate. |

Daily driver, for the most part - We get ice and snow sometimes, and with my summer tires, that's a no go. I just take my Avalanche on those days.

Daily mine as well, mostly highway 80+. 100 miles round trip M-F. Mileage be damned. Going to drive it until the doors fall off and have hell-a-fun doing it. Regular washes and routine maintenance and I should easily get 150k or more.

I daily drive a truck and the Camaro is used solely for autocross/track and spirited drives on the weekend. The Camaro only has 3,600 miles after 2.5 years of ownership!

Not a daily, per se, I have a 2006 Honda Civic for that. However, I enjoy driving the darn thing so much, I'm going to end up having to call it my daily. For now, its in the garage if its anything other than sunny/cloudy weather. And pending the daily circumstance is always at risk of being driven.
