I'm looking for a mirror mount for my Uniden R3 that will definitively work with my rear view mirror. I have a 2019 ZL1 with the camera in the mirror. I looked at Blendmount but they said that they are still developing one that will work. It should be available late 4th quarter. I really didn't want to wait that long. I've looked through quite a few threads, but they always leave me with questions. Any help would be much appreciated.

What did you end up using?

I am still using the factory suction cups that came with my detector and waiting to hear from blendmount. I couldn't find a definitive solution that I was happy with.

Well bummer. I am still waiting for blendmount too but my suction cups have lost their ability to keep my detector up for more than a few hours.

Your camera isn't in the mirror. I have an 18 1LE with the factory PDR. The Camera is in the black box behind the mirror up to at the headliner windshield edge.
I have the blendmount for the V1. The R3 mount should be similar to this except for the lower attachment piece specific to your R3.
Your ZL1 might have a different mirror than mine, the mirror with all the auto dimming features etc. Still,, Blendmount makes the mount to fit both the mirrors that presently come in the Camaro.

No the camera mirror is actually a camera facing rearward and the mirror is a video screen. Blendmount doesn’t have anything for us yet unfortunately

That sounds pretty cool. I heard about that technology but didn't know it was available yet.
