I posted pics and video of a session. There was a single file train of cars PARKED down the back straight of Sonoma.....like, LA traffic parked at 3 mph. I prefer running with organizations with smaller car counts, that properly space competitors, who happen to be capable of letting faster cars by without impeding them (Global Time Attack, Speed District seem to be the best IMO) |

I'm with ya 93. I run with Open Track Racing a few times a year and what a great way to spend your Wednesday. Breaks up the workweek nice and you get 5 30min run sessions that are pretty much wide open. Race run group is open passing and the drivers have always been trustworthy and it makes for a really nice day at WSIR. Most people leave early because they've gotten their fill of track time for the day. how many events can you say you walk away satisfied before its even over! love that. My GY3Rs did not love it. hahaha. 2 run sessions and corded. Damn Turn 2 at WSIR.

The Pirelli DH Slicks worked fantastic at Road Atlanta last weekend.... Posted this up in the Road Course section. http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=524826 Forgot to put in that post that the Pirelli's were best at 31PSI hot (at least for my set up on that track). I am using Factory recommended track alignment front and rear. Perfect wear on the tires all four corners and Road Atlanta can be pretty tough on driver side tires. You might want to give the Pirelli's a try!

Sweet Thanks For sharing! What size Pirelli's are you using and what width are your wheels?

19X11 front 19X11.5 rear Using 305/690/19 on all four corners with these rims. If you are using 12" wide rear wheels, you will likely need to go to the 315's for the rears like I believe Chub2000 has done. Hope that helps!

Hi,
2018 ZL1/1LE R7's 315 front and 345 rears. They fit perfectly and so far have held up pretty well even through the summer heat. They dont really seem to ever loose traction they are great. |

Supercar 3Rs:
NT-01s: 305 front/315 rear Continental slicks: I've reviewed the PDR data from all three laps. I pull ~.1 to .15 more avg. Gs with the slicks vs. the NT-01s. Against the Supercar 3R, the difference is a bit less - I was fairly new to the car when I posted that lap and feel I left some on the table. |

How are you guys buying the slicks? I have searched the internet unsuccessfully. Can you please pass whatever location along.
Thank you!

for used slicks, i've also got a set of take off's from them right now that I ended up not using for $400, I paid 600 from GT track days originally. |
