engine noise

I have been around engines for many years but would like someone to give me an idea of what they think this is????? Is it just the new motor that I never had before?
My car= 2010 LS3 6 speed.
I'm getting a tic after the engine warms up to 180 degrees (left bank), it sounds to me as if its a lifter? It doesn't show itself till that temp, is this maybe something that I may be looking to deep into? Its not loud, for that matter it may just be me???? It sounds like a real small exhaust leak- tic tic tic and it goes up with the rpm's. It is not there when the car is cold.

Does anyone else have this noise?

How many miles do you have on the car? Have you done an oil and filter change yet?

Oil change should help; all the junk from the assembly line plus the metal shavings from break-in are floating around in your oil. People should really change their oil and filter in the first 50-100 miles just to clear that junk out so it doesn't splash around on their valvetrain and everything else. I don't know why the factory doesn't recommend that. I changed mine at 65 miles.

I have a little over 500 miles on mine now. I've noticed this ticking as well coming from the heads. Did the oil changed fix it?

So if it's "floating" around in the oil...what's the filter supposed to be doing??
