Is this right....

So my car sits all week and only gets driven on the weekends. Last Sunday when I started it there was a large cloud of white smoke from the exhaust. It cleared, so I drove it with no issues. I decided to check out under the hood to see if it was possibly coolant or oil. Oil level is fine but when I looked at the coolant reservoir i was a little confused. Maybe i'm missing something but it appears to be 2 tanks in one. There is a small lid on the bottom part that says dexcool but it appears to be empty while the top part appears to be overfull. This picture is of it after sitting since Sunday morning. Can someone explain the bottom part of this tank? Thanks

I don't know why it is blurry or why it has a water mark.

Top tank is suppose to be full and the bottom tank is suppose to be half full. There is a fill port for the bottom tank on the back directly behind the top one.

The white smoke could most likely be condensation as well, I wouldnt worry too much unless that bottom tank re empties.

Prometheus is correct. You need to fill the bottom tank halfway with 50/50 dexcool. Here’s the page from the manual and your pic. Just upload directly to the site (go advanced > paperclip)
