Will a 26" DR play nice with a ZLE?
Hello All
I have a rear drag set up from my 13 ZL1. Before I sold the car I had picked up a set of Hoosier P315/30R18. Its a 26" tall tire. https://www.jegs.com/i/Hoosier/522/17342/10002/-1 Long story short, the 13 car even with fuses pulled didn't like the smaller tire. The 2013 car had a 28" tire tho. The ZLE's Stock rears are 26.8" tall. Has anyone here run a 26" tall on a ZLE here??? |

None that I know of, but there's a million SS's running a 26" slick without issue.

I think it would be tough to hook it.

Car ran strong and the computer didn’t know any change...
The Hoosier were horrible. Couldn’t hook to save my life. Was a fun day but hard to race when you can’t hook. |

Strange. I dead hooked at CamaroFest on stock tires. What's your power level?

What was your 60’?
I say put psi at 18-20, a good 5 second burnout to warm and clean them up and work on your shifts. Driver mod seems to be what’s needed. |

In all not super disappointed. The DA was 6820 feet. I’m going to find a better tire and give it a go again next season. Seriously feel like I can get it around 12.teen’s or 11.99 on a glory pass if the DA is good. In the summer we can see 9800 to 10k DA. |
