New 2019 2SS A10
I have been an automotive enthusiast/ mechanic/ shop owner (Retired). Most of my cars have been imports, I have been through the Lotus line starting with a 65 mk1 Lotus Cortina, various MG's, Triumph, Jaguar, BMW and a couple Cobra replicas.
This car puts them all to shame I am most impressed with the precision of the handling and how it integrates with the power. My intent was to purchase a M6 but once I had a chance to try out the A10 along with a really good deal I went for it. The dual mode exhaust is awesome I can get out my driveway and to the end of the street in stealth mode then select track for the canyon to the freeway. I have not yet been able to take it through its paces out Hwy 58 or 41 but over the Labor day weekend I will be able to. I have never owned an American like this and frankly it has been my loss. |

Congrats! You made a great choice- and not by trial and error like I did. I too have mostly had imports- Civic SI's, WRX's, etc.- all with manual transmission I made my first plunge for a 2017 Camaro RS- I got the A8. My first automatic. I thought it would be great but it was plagued with the shudder issue. After months of trying to get it fixed to no avail and it sitting at the dealers more than I was driving it I traded it in on a new Mustang GT- for a great price- 33K. Horrible mistake. The engine was so noisy, rattled, pinged, knocked. Dealer said it was "normal'. Had enough, traded it (fortunately got a great cash trade in, lost only 3K). Then I bought my 2016 Camaro, M6, used with only 6K miles for cash, could not be happier. I hope to upgrade to the LT1 before they stop making the Camaro and around when I retire.

Yes,I agree with you about the 10 speed.I was gonna buy the 2020 1LT w/6 speed MT .After driving the my 2019 A10,game over.
