Cold air / Hot air / AC

I've had this issue pretty much since day 1 but only really notice it during the summer. AC basically doesn't blow cold air on drivers side but does after a while, or if car is restarted also fixes the problem. Many on this forum and others have had this problem. Dealer doesn't reproduce, since they would be starting the car to take it away, or not hot enough to notice (since this problem occured mostly on really hot days), and other problems I've had with the morons that work the dealership (won't get into that).

Anyway...I have isolated this to not an AC issue at all. Today I was getting hot air on drivers side and 'cool' air on the passenger side despite both being set to low and AC off... Cranking the heat to 30 I wasn't even getting heat to blow out, unless I set 1 side to 25 and the other to 30, and a whole host of other weird anomalies.

Seems it doesn't blow air through the main vents when temp set >25 unless I put the setting for 'face'. Perhaps that is normal though - not sure - but I do know SOMETHING is wrong. :(

Problem is describing the issue to the dealer. They just don't seem to understand, and always say everything is NORMAL...

Has anyone else experienced anything at all like I am describing?

on 5th gens there was a common problem with the flapper door and actuator. Not sure if these 6th gens have the same problem.

I am having a problem where no matter what mode i put the heater on ( def, face, feet, ) it stays on Face. it wont switch to def or the feet. I need to dig into it and see if this is also a flapper door issue.
