New member from Richmond, VA!!

Hello All,

Excited to own this amazing machine! I picked her up a few months ago and the mods have already begun. So far I have installed a Rotofab intake, Mamo TB, NX lid and AWE touring catback non-resonated with performance link pipes.

I traded in a 2015 STI with an upgraded turbo and every possible mod done and this beast kills it in every category!

Attached pics. Also here is a clip of my exhaust cold start via Instagram:

Roll on videos coming soon!

Thanks Stephen! I see you have done some track time at VIR. Would love to get into that! I’ve done track days on the bike there but never in a car.

Nice ride man! You and I have an almost identical mod list. I have a Soler TB instead of the Mamo. That exhaust though. I was like a kid on Christmas when I first drove it with the AWE exhaust. I haven’t had a chance to install my NX lid though. Cheers from Fairfax!

Congrats, man. Beautiful car! If i was still in Chester, I'd come by and check it out in person! I grew up in Chester, left when Allied Chemical transferred Dad to Houston back in '76. Missed my sr year at Thomas Dale. Yes, I'm an old guy!

Thanks Charlie! I felt the same way once I opened her up for the first time. Was amazing for sure! You will love the lid, added a few decibels to the supercharger whine, but that awe drowns it out haha.

Thanks guys! L78 i use to hang out in Chester all the time, I live in the Varina area. If you were around I would be happy to let you check it out. I have a few friends that went to Thomas Dale.

Zl1_fan, when your crush arrives I will defiantly have to check it out!! It’s a gorgeous color! I work up that way in west creek.

Question regarding your exhaust. I have the same setup sitting in a box waiting for me to install it. I'm not sure if I'm going to install the link pipes due to how loud it might be. I might kep the secondary cats.

How do you find the exhaust level with the link pipes? If you could do it again would you keep the cats? I guess I could cut the OEM and install the exhaust. See what I think, and if not happy pull her apart again and throw in the pipes!

Crushed, IMO it’s only loud during cold start and when getting on the throttle. It also barks loud during the auto blip downshifts when it hits performance shift mode. I have an A10, when cruising I can’t hear it at all, no drone. Almost sounds stock cruising. I wouldn’t go back to the secondary cats. It sounds really good, deep tone at idle and race car when wide open.

The only thing I didn’t like was the tiny clamp used to connect the drivers link pipe to the awe cat back. I had to really crank it down hard and add the included paste.

If you want to check it out before installing yours let me know. I live somewhat close by.

Thanks for the info! That was exactly what I wanted to hear. Link Pipes it is.

I figure you are atleast 4000 miles from me. That would be British Columbia Canada. Lol.
