lol i used to daily drive my camaro to work 30 miles a day and filled up once a week and i loved it...then i got a job in corona 80 miles a day and i drove the camaro for a few months and decided i couldnt do it, one because its a manual and two i was filling up about twice a week

now i have a 17 cruze lt and fill up once a week and while i appreciate it i miss my camaro and only drive her on the weekends and only about 26k on my 16ss...i dont care about the mileage it just made sense to get a daily

To the OP, be thankful you have a company car.
I have been commuting for over 20 years and in my personal vehicles on my own expense.
You are very fortunate.
Would the company consider a base camaro when it's time to refresh the company fleet?

This is me...I daily drive my 2017 50th Anniversary 2SS. I have a 27-mile commute (one way), mix of highway and city driving, and I cannot imagine doing it every day if I couldn’t drive the Camaro.

At the end of every workday, as I head down to the parking garage, the Perma—Grin starts to kick in—no matter how tough the day was. By the time I get home, I’m a much more pleasant person to be around!

I don’t care about the miles...already over 45k. I’ll keep driving it until it won’t go anymore. Then I’ll get another one. If they stop making Camaros, I may be forced into a future Corvette (darn it!).

yea i wanted to get a volt or bolt but i wouldnt buy a electric or hybrid car and i drive too much to get a lease so oh well...cruze isnt bad 34-35mpg fill up once a week and doesnt drive too bad but i do miss the camaro power while trying to pass on freeways

filling up twice a week with 91 octane vs once a week with 87 octane pretty much the daily pays for itself just in the gas savings lol

At least if I was in my Camaro I probably wouldn't feel as much dead inside on my way to work. Anyone else drive a sad commuting car?

Honda Civic....Wow...thats gotta be tuff.

Not having rock chips is for sure the sweet part of the bitter sweet situation. I've had lots of stone chips and cracked windshields over the years,

I get 34 MPG average in my Camaro LT M6 and I can put in regular gas- it's THE perfect commuter car. And I have the power to pull away from all of the cookie cutters when I need to. I also can get by with less than a fill up- 3/4 a tank a week.

THIS... I DD mine as well. The car is built for one purpose.. to drive. leaving it at home is nice and all, but then what did you buy it for, so you can enjoy looking at it from afar? I don't understand that thought process, so you're preserving it for the next owner?

In DFW the roads are pretty nice, I won't say great but definitely good enough to DD.

The best parts of the day are heading to work, and walking out seeing those 4 pipes ready to blast out the best music of the day.

I was commuting in mine 80 miles a day. Then after the first set of tires I decided to buy a Bolt. Now I don't use any gas

I'm in this club but live in SoCal.

I daily drive my Camaro 90 miles a day to work and back. Prior to my F1FTY, I drove a 2000 Honda Civic, then a 2010 Scion xB. Needless to say the most fun and comfort is in my Camaro!!! (BTW, been doing the drive for almost 20 years).

I’m preserving mine for myself for the next 20-30 years. Also driving it on weekends only, makes it all the more fun. Everyone’s different however and with different situations.
