I love the uniqueness of the Redlines. It's just not something you see often. I would like to go wider but I'd never changed these.

The forged 1LE wheels hold up to potholes very well and their color matches the brake dust almost perfectly! I would prefer the look of more than 5 spokes but not planning to change them.

Be careful what you wish for. Silver is the best. I have black 5 spokes, but I worry they'll get scratched and chipped by dealer mechanics. (on my 2013 silver wheels, chips galore, but not as noticeable.) On the other hand I've only cleaned the black wheels 4 times in a year.

For those that complain about cleaning the wheels, one suggestion. WHEEL WOOLIES from Chemical Guys are the bomb, makes cleaning a breeze.

I have the OEM 18" rims on mine and I intend on keeping them. They're super light and very cheap to replace should I need to. The extra sidewall gives a nice ride and they are forgiving when parallel parking. I also like how they look, more of an old school muscle car vibe. I'm not really into the 20" wheels. Even if I went aftermarket forged, I'd go 18 or 19" max.

I very much appreciate my rims. I appreciate that they are round. I am extremely appreciative that they roll.

I also really like the model specific wheels that came with my Fifty. Hated the brake dust, though and I always like to be just a little bit different, so I had mine powder coated “near black” on the non-polished services. That provides a really noticeable contrast and also really pop when the tires are wet wiped. And the near black barrels hide the brake dust well between cleanings.

I think the 1LE wheels are incredibly beautiful and if I were to buy a second set of wheels, that’s what I’d buy. Just haven’t justified the cost and I’m happy enough with my wheels to avoid that temptation.

I actually love these wheels, especially with Satin Steel Metallic. That said, there's always a chance that I could change them out at some point.
