Rims and offsets
anyone running a similar offset below?
20x10 +30 20x11 +32 I understand that the factory offsets are below and that the front will come in 10mm and the rears will poke out 11mm. My question is how do they fit and look? 10Jx20 ET20 11Jx20 ET43 |

Might be a little too much outward tire and not enough inword. What I’m trying to say is it may look a little empty on the inside.
You can always buy 2x 5mm spacers and push the factory wheel out just to see the figment. Don’t drive it like this tho as you won’t have more than 5 full turns on the lug nuts and may not be safe. But, you’ll at least be able to see what it looks like. |

Interesting, thanks for the feedback. I am a huge fan of Volks, have them on my S2000, want to put a set of TE37's on the Camaro. This is the recommended offset from them.

I think +38 would be right on but could go as far as +35 and be right under the fender lip.

If you are bringing the fronts in, wouldn’t the bigger issue be lack of strut clearance?

I like the ZL1 look with square 10.5x20 et+28 or +29 with a 18mm front bolt on spacer.

I think I am going to go down to a 19" rim, tons more options.

Pretty sure the 19x10 ET 30 will hit the strut ear mounts even with only -1 camber (how my car was delivered from the factory). If it doesnt actually hit, it will be very close so be prepared to either grind down the strut mounts or add a spacer. The rear will depend on tire and camber used. 19x11 ET43 with 305/30/19 RE71R fit with -1.5 rear camber and there might have been room to do ET32 but it would be close.
FWIW, I think the fitment wouldnt look very good in the front. Rear would be flush if it fits but fronts would be tucked in nearly 15mm more than what would look good IMO. |

Agree, that's why I am looking @ 19's as there seems to much better offset choices.

The problem is the MRC strut ears are angled. As you go down in wheel diameter the closer you get to them. If you do a 19x10 I think the min offset will be right around ET23 at low stock camber. Assuming you want flush, you probably was something in the ET15 range so a 19x10 ET20 with a 5mm spacer would do it. Otherwise custum Forgestar or similar.
