Elite Catch Can with Magnuson 2300?
I am finally installing my Magnuson 2300. I have the stock SC off and am ready to begin putting the new parts on.
I am thinking of installing an Elite catch can while I am on there. Has anyone installed an Elite can with the 2300? If so, does everything fit ok? Does the replacement PCV with the elbow fit ok? Thanks. |

Yes, everything fits. In fact, the 2300 makes it super easy. It works better than with the factory 1.7L. If you ever needed to service the diverter valve or go back to the stock PCV valve you just remove the air inlet on the 2300 and you’ll have easy access. No more having to lift the blower to access. Also, there is plenty of room to easily allow for the elbow on the diverter valve to point to either the passenger or driver side making for more options to route the hose. You can see in the pic how accessible it is with the air inlet removed.

No. I run a RotoFab CAI and mounted it to the CAI.

Thanks for the pictures. That really helps. I'll be installing the RotoFab Big Gulp so I'll follow your lead on mounting it to the RotoFab housing. That's a great idea.
I see how you oriented your DSX Flex sensor so that helps me too since I am also installing one of those. |

Excellent pictures. This should help others on mounting options as well. Please share the effectiveness on the E2-X system.
