I’d really like to see performance results at an HPDE
event comparing this throttle body to others . |

Hmmm...surprised not one video of a rev blip or drive by with one install. Strange.....yes....quite strange ...indeed.

It’ll never be as good as the Hellcat throttle response is but it’s pretty damn good and 100 times better than stock.

I video will tell a lot. Anyone can detect a sharp blip of the throttle as opposed to slow lazy blip that seems to be with the stock TB. |

Good luck waiting for a video that will show you how good and responsive the Soler unit is. Video just doesn’t do it any justice.

Good grief.....do you guys even understand what we're talking about? Changing the throttle body is not like swapping in a light flywheel or lightening the crank.... Besides the fact those videos of are two completely different engines you still cannot tell in either of those videos how far they are having to push the pedal before the engines do anything at all.... A more accurate video to represent what this throttle body does would be SLOWLY coming off idle and SLOWLY raising the revs in 100 RPM increments. It's called fine throttle control....get it? |

I’ve given up on trying to explain that a video will do very little, if anything at all, to highlight this swap. I was skeptical at first but after reading all the positive feedback I took the plunge. I’m glad I did.

Do you know what a blip is? Its a quick tap on the accelerator not a mash to the floor. If you have ever blipped a Challenger or any vintage muscle car you would understand. No one is talk about mashing the accelerator to the floor.

The Soler does not feel like the Hellcat as far as responsiveness. Although the throttle bodies obviously contribute, to an extent, to the feel and responsiveness of the throttle when you “blip it”. There are other factors that come into play when you’re comparing a blip between two different engines. That is what racerman was referring to. If you want a video comparing blips it should be done comparing the same engines. So, with that being said. My ZL1 1LE with the Soler TB does not feel like the Hellcat and it does not respond like the Hellcat. I don’t expect them to, they are two different engines with two completely different calibration. The Hellcat blips the throttle even before you put your foot on the gas, that’s how sensitive mine is. Hope that helps you make up your mind.
