Neither will drone. The resonated version simply smooths out the tone in the higher end of the rev range, but it remains aggressive. I recommend going resonated for aftermarket headers (unless you want it really rowdy) and non-res for factory headers.

I have the resonated Touring catback and there is 0 drone and it is LOUD. My co-worker just got the street MBRP and it is louder than that. At idle or cruising it is very tame but above 3000 rpms or so it is rowdy as hell.
